  • Ruth's conversation classes have been a very well-spent time for me. In addition to providing an opportunity to talk with fellow students, you learn a wide range of vocabulary and expressions that are of great help, not only for general conversations but also for other areas like the professional one. Her classes are enjoyable and engaging; you always work on different topics that she sends you in advance via WhatsApp. The Zoom connection allows you to join from anywhere, making her class an excellent way to learn English no matter where you are. You feel very comfortable speaking and expressing yourself, and Ruth always listens attentively and then corrects any pronunciation or grammar errors you may have made. After the class ends, Ruth always ensures to send you a list of the new words learned, along with examples of expressions, to make them easier to remember.   • We would like to express our gratefulness and thankfulness to our favorite English teacher Ruth we met in Edinburgh in 2019, when we were living there for 6 months. Indeed, we became friends in the middle of the Scottish Covid chaos and Ruth immediately gave us the support we needed in English as well as with heart.   • Learning a language is a challenging journey, often is easy to get frustrated, and certainly does not happen from one day to another. It demands dedicated effort and time, as well as a generous dose of patience, consistency and discipline. Moreover, requires crucial support along the way! In my case,  I embarked on the path of improving my English proficiency for both personal and academic reasons. My motivation was driven by my decision to pursue a Master's degree at a university in the UK, which necessitated achieving a minimum overall score of 7 on the academic IELTS language test. I was determined to not only enhance my English skills but also make the most of the enriching academic experience I had envisioned. I made significant progress, elevating my IELTS score from 5 to 7, which was the required threshold for admission to the master's program I aspired to join.
